The Funeral Directors and staff at Johnson Funeral Home are not grief counselors.  We are however, trained to see the signs of depression, grief and emotional issues dealing with the loss of a loved one.  We are always willing to listen and help you heal.  Sometimes though, some need more professional services to help them cope with the grief and issues facing them in their lives.  We have many resources, including Licensed Grief Counselors, Support Groups and
reading materials, we can direct you and your family to.

We have compiled a list of books that we feel may be helpful to you and your family should you need added resources.  This is only a few of the books that are available.  More can be found at your local bookstore, library, or ordered online at www.barnesandnoble.com.  These are only intended to assist you with questions or feelings you may have.  In no way should these take the place of a certified and qualified grief counselor, should you feel one is necessary.  Please contact us should you feel you or a family member may need additional professional assistance.
