Many times families have questions concerning Social Security.  We have added a link to the official website of Social Security.  We also encourage you to contact the local office.  Contact information can be found on the website.   When a death occurs, the funeral home will make first contact with Social Security, notifying them of the death.   This is done when the death certificate information is entered online to the Ohio Department of Health.  We encourage you to contact the local office a few days after the death.  Please contact us with any questions you may have.
